In the first half of the year, 40 of the 41 major industrial sectors recorded year-on-year profit growth (or turnaround) and one sector was flat year-on-year. Of these, 36 industries achieved double-digit and above growth in profits, accounting for 87.8%; Seven industries are growing at more than 100%. Compared to the same period in 2019, profits in 29 industries increased, or 70.7 per cent.
